MRI RF power amplifiers are identified by both their amplifier model and the MRI manufacturer’s part number. AEW handles component-level repair inquiries for the MKS and Analogic families shown below.
GE entries include MKS S26 and Analogic AN8102 and AN8103 amplifiers. Philips entries include MKS S21, S23, S26 and S30, plus the Analogic AN8112-01. The Siemens MKS 44-S26B-123 is listed separately. These families are not interchangeable simply because they share an amplifier description.
Identify the exact unit
Send the model, OEM part number and revision from the label. For example, 50-S26-128 and 50-S26B-128 are different model strings; preserve the B and the part-number suffix when requesting a quote. Existing alarm information can help describe the request without removing covers or attempting powered tests.
Repair, exchange or replacement
Ask AEW about diagnostic evaluation, rebuild and testing for the identified unit. Exchange and outright options depend on the component and availability; the linked pages distinguish repair inquiries from parts listings.
